Join the Global Minded Project for an unforgettable evening as Holocaust survivor Eva Kor shares her remarkable journey from injustice to peace. This strong woman will captivate you with the details of the events surrounding her imprisonment as a child at Auschwitz in Poland. The reality of her struggle to give a gift to a German officer at the camp decades later is so potent it's palatable.
Her new documentary, "Eva" just released by Emmy award-winning filmmaker, Ted Green, this spring. Ted is quoted on the WFIU website, "I'm increasingly drawn to stories of the human spirit, the triumph of the human spirit,” filmmaker Ted Green said. “I've never seen a greater personal example of the triumph of the human spirit than Eva Mozes Kor. Her psychological transformation and the good she's doing for others is astonishing."
You won't want to miss this amazing opportunity to be stretched in compassion as we all come together and deepen our resolve to "Never Forget" & "Never Again".
Dessert, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea will be served.
All proceeds benefit the Global Minded Project, a local not-for-profit here in Bloomington.
